MOEMS is a monthly contest that runs from November through March.
- Each contest is 30 minutes long and has 5 questions.
- Elementary division for 4-6th grade.
- Middle School division for 6-8th grade.
- Every problem requires careful mathematical thinking.
- Students work alone, scoring 1 point for each correct answer. Thus, a student may score up to 25 points per year.
- Calculators, rulers, graph paper, and other aids or resources are not permitted.
- Problems introducing more advanced concepts include all necessary definitions.

Last year nearly 170,000 students from 6,000 teams worldwide participated in the Olympiads. All 50 states and about 30 other countries were represented.
You can take MOEMS ONLINE this year!
If your school does not participate in Math Olympiad, you can take it with OMC online on the Thursdays listed above.
